This posts is a part of the PeopleTools 8.50 Hints & Tips series on BAOA regarding PeopleSoft 8.50 tools upgrade.
That can be done through the application so that you do not need to restart the web server.
1. Navigate to PeopleTools -> Integration Gateway -> Configuration – Gateways.
2. Click the Gateway Setup Properties link, then click Advanced Properties Page link to access the integrationgateway.properties file through the application.
3. Scroll down to the CERTIFICATE section and locate ‘secureFileKeystorePasswd’, by default the delivered password will be in plain text.
4. Copy the plain text into the Encrypt Password utility on the Gateway Properties page to create the ciphered text.
5. Copy the results back to the ‘secureFileKeystorePasswd’ parameter, and save the change.
