E-Business Suite

There are 364 sessions about the e-Business Suite at Oracle OpenWorld (including sessions of OAUG-Oracle Applications User Group). Last year the focus was release 12 and this year it looks like Oracle prepares customers of EBS and also us to Fusion.

PeopleSoft

Would you like to know the latest news affecting PeopleSoft, the latest PeopleSoft information en which PeopleSoft sessions to attend at Oracle Open World 2007? Jan Wagner, president of the Oracle Appliations Users Group (OUAG) and a featured speaker at Open World explains the above in his podcast interview.

During this year’s OpenWorld the PeopleSoft technical news will be limited to the new PeopleTools release (8.49) and the integration between PeopleTools and the SOA Architecture. This integration will focus on leveraging webservices from PeopleSoft to build SOA processes. Customers will share the knowledge and experiences about the new features in PeopleTools. There also will be sessions to show the combination between the new Business Intelligence Suite and PeopleSoft Applications.

Siebel

New functionality promised for Siebel is based on the Fusion middleware components. The Siebel Business Intelligence reporting module, renamed to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, will be delivered by coming versions of all Oracle packages. Benefit for the customer: new functionality is directly added and a company is immediately prepared for a final migration to Fusion applications.
